Ever heard of Save the Cat? What about the 15 story beats? Well tonight Alysha Welliver, our OKC Connect Leader, will be presenting on what they are, and how you can use them to plot out your story idea. This method works for picture books through adult novels. There will be a pre-meeting dinner at Belle Isle Brewery, which is also at 1900 NW Expressway, at 5:30. Come meet other writers and get to know more about the industry as we enjoy casual conversation. PLEASE RSVP to oklahoma-ra@scbwi.org (Gaye Sanders) if you are coming to the dinner. Reservations are made the evening prior so she needs to know by late afternoon the day before the meeting if you are coming to the dinner.
