The Prism Affect, the first entry in the Skylight series, follows a young man named Jet living with a rare disease known as “the youthful death,” which legend says will kill him before his twenty-fourth birthday. To make matters worse, this disease is said to make its victims grow delusional as they age. While attending Skylight University, an orbiting system in Earth’s atmosphere, Jet and others like him must unravel the mystery of the condition before time runs out for them… and everyone else. The sequel, The Skylight Fallout, will continue Jet’s odyssey when it sees wide release later in April.
J. Wint graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a bachelor’s degree in architecture. He is a licensed architect and LEED-accredited. As a child of the ’70s, he grew a love for cheesy sci-fi movies and became an avid fantasy reader. His youthful influences—along with his college experiences and professional background—propel his writing.
