Jim and Ron Norick, father and son, have had a profound impact on our city. With collective service of more than 16 years as Mayor, each provided crucial leadership at pivotal times in our city’s history. Bill and Rick Moore have written a thoughtful and well-researched book about these two unique individuals and their contribution to our community. Come help celebrate this exceptional family. There will be a surprise mystery guest.

Conley who is equally adept at fiction or non-fiction has devoted his significant talent to chronicling the history, culture and modern life of the Cherokees. In the current book, he introduces us to John Little Bear, a medicine man who follows the old ways. The book includes illustrative stories of successful healing.

Booksigning with authors Jennifer Pustenbaurgh and Bob Darcy

These two authors, both from Oklahoma State University, present this first almanac to focus solely on Oklahoma women.
Kipling's Error III: They Were Great Americans
Booksigning with author Dr. Brooks Mitchell
Saturday at 6:30 p.m.
Norman author Dr. Brooks Mitchell will sign his book Kipling’s Error III: They Were Great Americans, a partial biography of Dr. Mitchell’s father, Lloyd Mitchell, a B-17 navigator, and his crew’s 25 combat missions over enemy-occupied Europe in WWII.
